Polite, reasonable, and respectful discussion and behavior is expected at each event. Civility is expected both to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all, and to foster constructive discussion. For this participants must be respectful and attentive to others including people with different points of view.
In that spirit of civility, people are also welcome and encouraged to comment on talks posted on the blog. Comments considered inappropriate by any blog administrator may be removed at any time without notice.
As a practical matter, the window for commenting on any given blog may close after a reasonable time.
